Handmade in the potter's wheel from porcelain clay. It has a black line/dash design from colored slip and a clear glaze on top. In the firing the melting glaze pulled the black color down, blurring the lines a bit. The inside is glazed in clear, appearing a creamy off-white.
This glaze have been formulated to fit properly with the clay, ensuring superior strength of finished wares. Highly resistant to chipping or cracking, it is meant to be used daily and enjoyed for a lifetime.
