Collection: Fable Studio

Daisy Mae Malczewski (Mal-shev-ski) originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has called Santa Fe, NM(Ogap'oge) her home for 7 years now. Always a maker, she has experience with many different mediums such as acrylic & watercolor paint, bone, leather, brass/silver and ink.  Daisy is inspired by the natural world, the flora & fauna that inhabit it & the stories told by all cultures to help us learn from it. Hence the name "fable" for her studio, where animals are the main characters & they always have a message for us about our own human tendencies. This is further reinforced by her background in wildlife rehabilitation & husbandry.
