Collection: Robyn A. Frank - New Mexico
Robyn A. Frank's work celebrates the cyclical duality of creation and loss, where past, present, and future converge in an intangible space of possibility. Through this, she creates a sense of place that is both physical and emotional.
Her compositions use allegory, with recurring symbols like the circle—representing the self and a path ever-evolving—along with the wavy line, an energetic manifestation of emotion, and the rectangle within a rectangle, symbolizing the ego or self-narrative within a larger societal context.
Inspired by New Mexico’s vast skies, shifting hues, and cloud formations, her work reflects the transitions of both emotional and physical journeys, a stage of boundless possibility.
She lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on occupied Tiwa lands, with the Sandia Pueblo (Tuf Shur Tia) and Isleta Pueblo (Shiewhibak) being the closest communities.
“Through my art, I explore the ever-present evolution of self, constantly finding new layers of discovery.” - Robyn
