Collection: Amapolay - Peru

Amapolay is a Lima-based arts collective that uses screen printing to elevate Peruvian culture and raise awareness of the struggles faced by Latin America's indigenous communities in their resistance to colonialism. Their work draws inspiration from the popular art of Lima’s working-class neighborhoods, infused with the artistic style and symbols of Andean and Amazonian migrants.

The juxtaposition of traditional motifs within urban settings reflects and celebrates Peru’s multicultural heritage, interpreted through their signature psychedelic color palette. Committed to sustainability, Amapolay increasingly uses upcycled dead stock and vintage fabrics in their clothing.

"Through our work, we aim to celebrate and preserve our cultural heritage while raising awareness of the struggles of indigenous communities in Latin America." - Amapolay
