Rocky Mountain Iris~ Herbarium ~ 11" x 14"

Iris grown on a flower farm are prized for their tall, elegant stems topped with large, ruffled blooms in a dazzling range of colors from deep purples and blues to soft yellows, whites, and pinks. Their sword-like green leaves form striking vertical clumps, adding texture and structure to the fields. Valued both as cut flowers and landscape plants, farmed irises bring vibrant seasonal beauty and are carefully cultivated for their long vase life and dramatic presence in floral arrangements.

The plant is mounted on acid-free, high-quality (320 gsm), watercolor paper handmade in India. A collection label is also included with the specimen scientific name, common name, family name, location and date collected.
