Jane Webb - New Mexico

For nearly two decades, Jane Webb has been crafting miniature clay works, inspired by her early studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and years spent working in puppetry with the Bread and Puppet Theater in Vermont. Her love for clay and puppets led Jane into making moving clay toys, whistles and bells and she has been making miniature clay works ever since.

Her childhood experiences in Peru and growing up in a large family further shaped her artistic vision, influencing her clay designs with a sense of cultural richness and deep observation. Jane’s work is a celebration of the whimsical and the beautiful, captured in each handcrafted piece.
