Chocolate flower~ Herbarium ~ 8 x 10

A real pressed plant and botanical specimen. Inspired by herbarium specimens, it is an artistic presentation of a Chocolate flower (Berlandiera lyrata), a member of the Aster Family of plants and collected in the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve.

The plant is mounted on acid-free, high-quality (320 gsm), watercolor paper handmade in India. A collection label is also included with the specimen scientific name, common name, family name, location and date collected.
