Life is better with little treasures like this beautiful tiny sculpture handmade by New Mexico ceramicist Jane Webb.
“I have been working with clay for almost twenty years. I first studied art at Rhode Island School of Design, and then I went on to do puppetry for several years with the Bread and Puppet theater in Vermont. My love of clay and puppets led me into making moving clay toys, whistles and bells and I have been making miniature clay works ever since. Growing up in a big family and spending much time in Peru during my childhood has also greatly influenced my work.”
