A real pressed plant and botanical specimen. Inspired by herbarium specimens, it is an artistic presentation of Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) which I collected from its natural habitat in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. These are lovely, tall dandelions adapted to their mountain habitat.

The plant is mounted on acid-free, high-quality (320 gsm), watercolor paper handmade in India. A collection label is also included with the specimen scientific name, common name, family name, location and date collected.
