A real pressed plant and botanical specimen. Inspired by herbarium specimens, it is an artistic presentation of a Apache Plume (Fallugia paradoxa), a member of the Rose Family of plants and grown in my yard in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The plant is mounted on acid-free, high-quality (320 gsm), watercolor paper handmade in India. A collection label is also included with the specimen scientific name, common name, family name, location and date collected.
