Lavender ~ Herbarium ~ 11" x 14"

This listing is for a real pressed plant and botanical specimen. Inspired by herbarium specimens, it is an artistic presentation of Lavender (Lavendula) which I grew and collected from my garden in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Lavender is a fragrant plant with tall, slender stems topped by clusters of small purple blossoms that sway gracefully in the breeze. It has long been used for its calming and relaxing effects, helping to ease anxiety, stress, and insomnia. Lavender also carries antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it useful in soothing skin irritations and minor wounds.

The plant is mounted on acid-free, high-quality (320 gsm), watercolor paper handmade in India.
