Each piece is upcycled from antique hand woven wool textiles. These blankets were vegetable dyed and hand woven by indigenous women from the region of Cusco. They are woven with patterns, colors, and symbols that chronicle the cultural identity of the weaver and their community.
Mistico Aufit breathes new life into these weavings full of ancient techniques and knowledge. Antonia lovingly designs and sews each piece to create contemporary haute couture fashions that continue the rich legacy of Peruvian art.
