Her love for vintage fashion and weaving drove her to create a collection of vintage denim jackets. By replacing the back panel of the jacket with her handwoven wool, she is able to maintain the comfort and overall feel of a denim jacket. As each jacket is unique, so is her choice of colors and Rio Grande inspired design.
Shiri uses 100% wool yarn and, as an aspiring dyer, incorporates many of her own dyed “creations” in her weavings.
