Handbuilt ceramic mini bowls from the Peruvian Amazon. Sandra Pacaya Panduro is a master ceramic artist form the Shipibo-Conibo Indigenous community near Pucallpa, Peru. Sandra collects the clay and pit fires the pieces and uses colored clay to paint them with the sacred patterns characteristic of her community. The handprinted designs represent the ayahuasca visions that are central to the cosmology and culture of this ancient civilization.
