Fat Crow Press is the print studio of Julie Sola, located in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Julie’s journey into printmaking began when a friend introduced her to woodcut prints, sparking a passion for the medium that has continued to grow through self-exploration and classes with local printmakers.

For Julie, printmaking is the most effective way to express her ideas. She begins with a sketch, then transfers it to linoleum, where the image evolves through the carving process. Working reductively, Julie removes linoleum to create texture, shape, and line, transforming a simple idea into a unique piece of art. The excitement of pulling a print never fades, as the final result always holds an element of surprise.
